Cessna 170, Four Seats for All
18” x 24” Painted in 1989
The Cessna 170, produced from 1948 to 1957, was Cessna’s four place all metal entry in the post-World War II business aircraft market. The tail wheel equipped high winged 170 was a success for Cessna and was the forerunner of the tens of thousands of tricycled geared high winged Cessna business and personal aircraft to follow.
Painted for United States Historical Society for production of the AOPA Tableau, 1989
