The Original Beech 18
18” by 24” Painted in 1976
First flight of a twin Beech was on 25 June 1937 and the type was in continuous production for more than 30 years. Designed to meet the prewar needs of business and the charter operator, wartime military orders swelled production in Navy SNB and JRB, Army AT-7, AT-11 and C-45 versions, plus postwar Super 18s, to beyond 9000 aircraft.
